About Akachi Comics
Meet the Creator
Matt Jones is the founder of Akachi Comics. He started this journey in 2014 with the release of a short ebook titled "Void Beast." Initially a writer, Matt embarked on the journey of becoming an artist in October 2023. Inspired by his love for manga and anime like Berserk, Fullmetal Alchemist, and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, as well as RPG and fighting video games like Final Fantasy, Mass Effect, Street Fighter, and Elden Ring, Matt wanted to create his own stories that encapsulate his favorite manga, games, and his martial arts background. Beyond his creative pursuits, Matt is also a Purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu and a tournament gold medalist. His diverse interests and experiences enrich the unique content and storytelling at Akachi Comics.
